Kamran Talattof
This essay offers a summary of literary activities since the 1979 Iranian Revolution, pointing out the most important poets, fiction writers, literary critics, literary journals, and literary as well as social events that have affected the production of literary shifts. In so doing, the article asserts that in the past three decades, despite fluctuations in the prominence of one or another genre, literary activities have continued to contribute to the formation of history, have influenced events, and have been influenced by societal changes.
